See up to 24 films, including the Opening Night film. VIP Passes are only available for purchase BEFORE Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m.

Supporting-Level Members and Above:
Reserved Seating Tickets Required on Opening Day and Night

One VIP pass allows bearer into all Festival films and the opening night reception, which begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, in the Dayton Fowler Grafman Atrium of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Each VIP pass holder must preselect his/her Thursday film tickets online by Thursday, Oct. 6. Appetizers and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided. Two soft drink coupons will be included with each pass for redemption at the bar. VIP pass holders also receive priority position in lines and are admitted into the Harkins Shea 14 Theatre first. In the event of a sellout, however, no one is guaranteed a seat after the film has started.
 

Non-Members:
Reserved Seating Tickets Required on Opening Day and Night

Gray/orange VIP passes purchased without a membership require the buyer to preselect his/her tickets online prior to Thursday, Oct. 6. Tickets are required for entry into all auditoriums. One VIP pass allows bearer into the opening night reception. Appetizers and one complimentary nonalcoholic beverage will be provided.

  • There will be a no-host, cash bar at the opening night reception for additional beverages not included with the VIP pass.
  • The party is exclusively for VIP pass and opening night film/reception ticket holders.
  •  Patrons must be 21 or older to be served alcoholic beverages.
  •  VIP passes provide priority position in lines to see any Festival film at Harkins Shea 14 Theatre and also permit the holder to remain in the auditorium between films.
  • VIP pass holders must still arrive 30 minutes before their films start, and seating is not guaranteed to anyone once a film has started.
  • In the event of a sellout, no one is guaranteed a seat after the film has started.
  • A limited number of VIP PASSES are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

FESTIVAL DISCOUNT PACKAGE ($215)

HOW TO PURCHASE VIP PASSES, PACKAGES AND TICKETS


Please read the instructions below before making any purchase. Again, VIP passes and packages are only available for purchase before the Festival begins, until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Opening night and animated short tickets can be purchased from the box office on Thursday, Oct. 6.

POLICIES AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

Pre-Ordered VIP Passes and Festival Discount Packages: All VIP passes (including those with tickets) and the Festival discount package will be held for will-call pick-up when you arrive to see your first film. To claim your order, please present your photo ID.

Pre-Ordered Tickets/Packages: Single tickets, Build-a-5 and Build-a-10 packages ordered by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, will be mailed.

Handling Fee: There is a $5 handling fee added to all orders, including will-call. (This is a flat per-order fee, not per-ticket.)

Will-Call Tickets: Orders placed after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, and before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, will be waiting for you at will-call at either Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts or Harkins Shea 14 Theatre when you attend your first screening. To claim your order, please present a photo ID at the Josephine Work Memorial Will-Call Table.

Tickets at the Door During Festival: Subject to availability, single tickets may be purchased at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Oct. 6, only for screenings at the Center, or at Harkins Shea 14 Theatre starting Friday, Oct. 7, before the first screening. Student discounts are available at the door. Students purchasing tickets must show a current student ID. Box offices open 30 minutes before the first screening of the day and remain open through the start time of the last Festival film of the day. Please note: Tickets are not sold online during the Festival and Harkins movie passes may not be used for Festival films.

Suggested: To avoid sellouts, plan your Festival schedule ahead of time and purchase tickets as early as possible.

Sold-Out Films: When a film is sold out, we try to hold some tickets for sale a few minutes before show time. Remember, your best opportunity to buy tickets or passes is before the Festival begins.

Accessibility Seating: Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and Harkins Theatres are ADA compliant.

Refunds and Schedule Changes: All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. In the unlikely event that a film becomes unavailable, the Scottsdale International Film Festival reserves the right to make a substitution. If a film must be canceled after tickets have been sold, you will be able to exchange your ticket for one of equivalent value through the Festival box office. There are no exceptions to this policy. If there are changes, they will be announced at the Festival.
