FRANCIE NOYES

Francie Noyes has been a movie writer and film aficionado for twenty years. She was a reporter for the Arizona Republic and East Valley Tribune and served five years as press secretary for Governor Jane Hull. She has taught at Arizona State University, University of Phoenix and the Maricopa Community College District. She was the film critic for City Life magazine, published by Phoenix Newspapers, and at the Scottsdale Progress.

Her recent writing includes poems published in Key West: a collection and The Anthology of New England Writers. Francie has led discussions for the Foothills Film Society and spoke on “Food in the Movies” at the International Association of Culinary Professionals annual conference in Montreal. This year is her sixth year as a facilitator at the Scottsdale International Film Festival.
