Simon is a quiet twenty-year-old who works after class in a camera shop. One day he borrows a camera and heads into the streets of New York City to take pictures. What he sees and what he does with what he sees ends up changing not only his life but the lives of a number of people around him.  His first photograph finds a classically beautiful Grace Kelly look-alike sitting on a park bench, her face an elegant picture of pain. Simon follows her, producing an achingly beautiful series of images. The story then ripples out into the overlapping lives of artist and model. Rose is a doctor struggling with loss who translates some of her pain into compassion for her patient Tommaso, an elegant elderly artist going blind. For his part, Simon copes with a mother driving him crazy with wildly inappropriate behavior. This film features newcomer Victor Rasuk, Heather Graham as Rose, William Baldwin as her estranged husband and Dominic Chianese as Tommaso.  Chianese just finished seven years as “Junior” Soprano on television and also played mob fixer Johnny Ola in The Godfather, Part II. ~ Francie Noyes
